About Nagorik

From three builders to technology used by millions.

Nagorik is an AI-native enterprise software engineering company shaped by nearly a decade of building, operating, and scaling products of its own.

We started in 2017 with three people and one enterprise SMS gateway. Today, 200+ people work across enterprise software, products, platforms, cybersecurity, and AI.

Discover our journey

Our Journey

We grew because the problems kept getting bigger.

Nagorik did not begin with a plan to become a 200+ person technology company. We began by solving one practical business problem.

Enterprise communication led to customer-engagement platforms. Those led to international product partnerships. Financial-service infrastructure brought millions of customer interactions and transactions into the picture. Consumer products taught us how to win and retain users directly. Cybersecurity, gaming, and AI opened entirely new categories.

Each chapter demanded different engineering. The operating instinct stayed remarkably consistent.

The Beginning

2017

Three people. One focused enterprise problem. One product that had to work.

It started with an enterprise SMS gateway.

Nagorik started with a simple ambition: build technology products that could solve real business problems at scale.

The first product was an enterprise SMS gateway. Within three years, it served more than 130 clients, including banks, multinational companies, and large local enterprises, and delivered more than 340 million SMS.

The first enduring lesson was simple: when a product is reliable, scalable, and built around a real customer need, it can grow far beyond its starting point.

Nine Years

The company changed one operating problem at a time.

2018

Enterprise engagement at scale.

Nagorik launched a missed-call and IVR platform used by more than 100 corporate clients, including Unilever, BAT, and Omera.

2019-20

International work, then financial-service platforms.

End-to-end technology partnerships began in the United States and Finland. In 2020, lifecycle-management and service-aggregation platforms for mobile financial service providers opened the next chapter, including the journey with bKash.

2021-22

One platform became many markets.

Platforms expanded across more than 10 MFS providers and telecom operators internationally, followed by 20+ additional operators in 2022. Nagorik also launched Medha, adding a major consumer-product chapter.

2023

A broader product portfolio emerged.

Six products launched across loyalty, consumer services, and business-management categories. By year-end, the portfolio had reached 600+ B2B clients and 550,000 paid subscribers.

2024

Cybersecurity, gaming, Dubai.

EnovaVPN and SharkVPN took Nagorik into privacy technology. White-label VPN services followed, Blockbuster launched as a gaming business, the Dubai office opened, and paid D2C subscribers crossed one million.

2025-26

Two million paid subscribers, then an AI portfolio.

The combined D2C paid subscriber base surpassed two million in 2025. In 2026, SuperChat, FluentAI, and DailyCal expanded the AI portfolio to more than 80,000 recurring monthly customers.

What the work taught us

Some principles can only be learned in production.

We do not need twelve values to explain how Nagorik thinks. Four lessons recur across the systems and products we have had to live with.

Reliability

Reliability has to be designed in.

When businesses or users depend on a system, uptime, resilience, observability, recovery, and performance stop being secondary technical concerns.

Ownership

Responsibility continues after release.

Operating our own products means living with architecture choices, support, retention, performance, customer behavior, and what reality exposes after launch.

Scale

Scale changes the problem itself.

The system that works for one market or one usage pattern may need to change when traffic, integrations, regulatory conditions, or customer expectations change.

People

Good teams keep challenging the answer.

Complex systems improve when people can surface risks, disagree constructively, learn from production, and change direction when evidence demands it.

Products & Proof

Some chapters of Nagorik live inside the products themselves.

The clearest expression of product-owner DNA is not a statement. It is the fact that Nagorik has repeatedly had to launch, operate, support, and grow technology of its own.

Our People

The company changed because the people did.

Going from three people to 200+ is not interesting because the number became larger. It matters because every new problem required new capability, new disciplines, and new people willing to learn together.

Headcount tells only part of the story. Capability is what the growth had to create.

Enterprise infrastructure required reliability and operations. Consumer products brought growth, analytics, retention, and support. Cybersecurity and AI demanded new technical depth. International work required teams to think across markets and time zones.

Stay close to the problem

Understand why something needs to exist before deciding how it should be built.

Speak openly

Surface risks, challenge assumptions, and let evidence change the decision.

Share ownership

Complex outcomes rarely belong neatly to one function or one discipline.

Keep learning

Carry production lessons into the next release, system, and market.

Curiosity at Work

The next category rarely arrives with a playbook.

Nagorik's history repeatedly pushed the
company into unfamiliar territory. That made
structured exploration necessary.

We research before we recommend. Emerging
technology has to earn its place in a product, an
engineering practice, or a client
recommendation.

Curiosity starts the experiment. Production decides what survives.

Beyond One Market

Prove it here. Adapt it there. Scale it further.

Nagorik's international journey began in 2019 through technology partnerships in the United States and Finland. Enterprise platforms later expanded through international MFS and telecom environments, and the Dubai office opened in 2024.

The lesson was not that one product can simply be copied everywhere. It was learning what should remain consistent and what must adapt to customers, infrastructure, partners, regulation, and local behavior.

From The Team

To everyone who has built with us.

The Nagorik team

Nagorik began with three people, but no meaningful chapter after that was written by three people alone.

It was written by teammates who stayed with difficult problems, clients who trusted us with systems that mattered, partners who helped us enter new markets, and users who decided that something we built was useful enough to keep using.

We are proud of how far the company has come. More importantly, every chapter has made the next version of Nagorik more capable.

We believe the most exciting chapter is still ahead.

The Story Continues

The next chapter is still being built.

There are two ways to become part of it: bring us a problem worth solving, or join the people solving them.
